Are you a human? New Captcha

A few years ago, there was a thread discussing the possibility of a new captcha where users had to play a mini game to register, fill out forms, etc.


There was actually a great deal of skepticism about the feasibility of this service. However, it has become a reality, and I'm seeing a large number of wordpress blogs, forums, and cms platforms using this free service (optional monthly plans).

You can actually try it for yourself. The games are easy, compatible with almost all browsers (including mobile), and.. well kind of fun.


It's also gaining a great deal of publicity. ie: pcmag picked it up


Some of you might have heard/seen this already, and some of you might be wondering why I'm sharing this information. Many forces are at work trying to prevent blackhat seo. This could affect this rate of success of many programs (ie: senuke, deathbycaptcha, ms, amr, etc) and require lots of work to solve.

Update: even blackhatworld.com is using it

Great idea if toned down a bit. After doing a few I'm just as annoyed if not more so than doing a captcha. Not as confident that it will catch on, but good to know. Much appreciated.

From a user standpoint, they only have to do one. Personally, it beat having to squint and decipher cryptic text.. just to find out you entered it wrong. Can't imagine what grandparents are going through trying to submit a form

I think you are mistaken about something. You do not need complicated programs like that to stop blackhat tools.
Most captcha solving software and captcha solving online services can't even solve 1+1

True, but i'd definitely call this an obstacle if more platforms/sites begin to adopt its use.

Its backed by javascript, and code parsing problems are generally much easier than image text matching. Or do I miss something here?
