Are .XYZ domain extension worth it?

.tk may perform better. :D

Lol. tk's are long dead. And btw, who compares xyz with com's huh? .Com is king and sadly will always be king! I regged a lot of xyz's including timebomb.xyz because they are dirt cheap and I don't know what may happen anytime. Xyz domains may have value sometime later but for now, they aren't any better than the big guys.

No they are not even close to be equal, they are just cheap throw away domains for spamming at Facebook for example. Don't use them for an authority website.
No they don't even work for spamming on facebook, new registered .xyz domains get instantly flagged on facebook

They are no Good. Lol. Instagram hate them already :)

The problem is overselling. abc.xyz is a completely legit website though.

It's a joke. :(

Go for a normal One. .com or net org. Look around for free ones. Weekly happy hours and promos. Best is to have a domain with a bit of age and autority and rank.

Just grab your 0.99 cent .com domain from godaddy. It looks more legit.

Yes but there must be some sort of manual review of the sites. I mean if someone had an awesome site they would surely don't just penalize it because of the extension, but the hawk eyes are on for sure. Maybe it is just less likely they flag another more aged extension.

Agree, but also beacuse of the low prices a lot of people are usiong these domains for spaming (say you buy a shundred of these badboys for the price of one dot com domain), so probably socialnetworks freaked out and decided to ban de extension. In the case of other tld's it be harder since they have "more autority" (most sites are .com/org or net).

I have spam filters set up to redirect all emails from .xyz into the trash folder. Their some relentless spammers using those domains.
