Are website "worth" calculators accurate?

Lets say I have a bunch of domains I want to sell.


Is checking all these "website value" calculators a good start to get a base value to ask for that domain?

Short answer, no. Every site monetizes differently and these calculators don't take that into account. They say a site is worth 5 years of net revenue. So if the site owner is making $1k a year, the site is worth $5k.
 
It said my website was worth $1100, and I didn't even have a payment gateway set up yet lol.
 
You know if you go to domaining forums they should give you a good idea of what your domain will sell for in the reseller's market.
 
These sites are generally good for a laugh and a quick backlink, other than that not really any hard grounds
