Over the last 4 days we have been getting over 300 orders for our SMTP SaaS services.

This is more than a 100% increase compared to our normal sales amounts. When we did a small investigation it seems that over 50% of the orders are placed from only 3 countries. India, USA and Spain.

60% of those orders is paid by creditcard (with 3D secure) via Stripe and the rest is Crypto. We provided the services as usual to all clients, but have worries regarding possible fraudulent creditcard payments.

Should we worry here, or are we fine since the credit card payments were made with 3DS and zip code validation?

The traffic came from Google search traffic (no AdWords).

Thanks in advance!
Mitch

Time will tell if you were lucky or if you need to worry

It is always a matter of TIME!

May be you struck oil and listed one of the indian forums or such. But Stripe will think otherwise. Had been banned for less

seems like some email spamming and hitting stripe is easy for indians

some of those countries get a bad rep for high probability of chargebacks. time will tell. like @gizmo92 suggests you prob went viral on some niche community. should start trying to identify that community, and see what kind of sentiment you get if you find the thread discussing your service.

I'd be worried, prepare yourself for the worst so you dont feel disappointed when something bad actually happens.
