Are views from Instagram count as CTR?

As I understand it, youtube only count ctr when the clicks comes from youtube.

So my question will be, if you drive traffic from instagram, is it going to improve your ctr and impression?

no it dosent count, i tried it already, maybe stats updated later.

How many views per 1000 followers you got?

Probably no . Maybe if you link to channel and visitors click on video you can get CTR.

You need to get someone to search for a video for it to be counted as CTR. A direct link will not work.

every page has different activity and engagement rates, it had nice numbers but only 900 view counted in 450k follower.

First, you need to understand how CTR works. It has to come from a search on YT, most of the time from related keywords that lead to your video being watched

Yes so the answer should be no. Is this correct? But assume the insta is page related, there is a possible new subs which will watch your future vid directly from youtube recommendation hence increse ctr. am I on the right direction?

clearing misconceptions.
ctr does not come only from search. it comes from browse features and youtube recommendations too.

and no instagram does not count as ctr as its a direct click from link.

ctr is based on impressions . the number of times ur video was displayed to people via search or recommendations vs the Number of people that click on those impressions.
if u get 500M impressions u won't get 500M views.
out of those 500M impressions if 100M to 200M click that's probs good ctr coz it's good thumbnail.

so ur ctr will be high.

don't worry about ctr tho. if u get 100k views from social media there will be almost no ctr but still that does not mean u won't get suggested..

i have bot spamming views to my video via url.
like 1k to 5k views.

all count as external but still video gets suggested. u always don't need ctr to get suggested.
plenty of Vietnamese botters just use external views and still get suggested.

if u have a constant supply of views on ur video, no matter where it comes from
social media or high quality bot sending u views from external which count in studio and are medium to high retention, then u will always have an incremental increase in suggested views daily and keep on supplying views to the vid until it takes off huge.
this is what i do. i did this method without any bot that searches and clicks on vid.


Lastly do this method on authority channel for best effect

Thank you for the explanation, this what I understand it too. First of all can I ask why vietnamese tend to be the one who do this? and like how do we even know that they are vietnamese?

Actually I got mixed feedback about this, so I saw a post from a guy who is trying social media panel and purchased RAV. He directed the traffic to an old video. The result was he got more views but not impression which obviously resulted in no CTR. Which got me thinking, what's the point of having external views if it does not improve the algo directly.

i know its the Vietnamese coz I'm in contact with a group that pulls 800M views a month with multiple channels.
so they have showed me many examples of their own competitors who do the same using such bots.
I've seen 200 to 300 channel examples where such method is used.
and they told me it's all their Vietnamese competitor buddies.
but they themselves use same methods.


see i dont know why it leads to suggested.
but based on my tests on many channels I can confirm that high retention quality bot views coming from external over time will lead to suggestion.


they use 2 things.

1. some of them use botnet. yt can't do anything about these views. it passes all bot filters.
it's coming from real computers.
they all count in studio as external views and will lead to suggested overtime.
these views will not get removed. they come from unique pcs and residential ips.

2. there are some Vietnamese group that have big offices with seperate rooms to host their phone view farms.
they invested some money into it.
phones watch streams and videos.

this method is same story as botnet. passes all bot filters + good ips used.

Phone view farms? How are they running proxies on the actual phones?

they can buy high quality private proxies that are not abused and in android settings u can obviously assign ips manually if you need just like u can do on ur pc.


so they might rent a big pool of high quality proxies and assign each phone to each ip.

they have a dashboard on their pc that can monitor and control the actions of all the phones on their viewfarm.

it's an expensive investment but they make shit ton of cash

I have heard of this,It can be done via Human Emulation and Appium and this is a really good way to get high quality views that no Smm Panels can provide,Though Expensive Investment but it can be not only used for youtube views but for providing smm services for every social media out there

So assume I have a dead video. And I buy quality bot views. I should see impression increase correct? is it like for sure thing?

and what is botnet? Can I ask the smm provider if they use botnet?

yes buy quality views. but most smm views are trash and same.
unless u contact some group owning their own private method.

no ofcourse u can't ask smm about that and they won't answer you about that. botnet is illegal


they use infected/virused pcs to play yt videos in background

it depends on if they makes the association that all your accounts bot, using machine fingerprint matches, ip address matches etc.

whatever bh methods u do, run those accounts fully isolated on vm/vps with different ips.

and yea i forgot to answer this.
in the case of rav views the issue is although they are real views, they come from things like pop ads but they are usually low retention views.
so low retention views are not going to help you get suggested later on.

I've tested RAV, most of them 99 percent low retention even if u have good content.
in some rare cases it can be good retention.

in my case of bot sending views to me from external sources, remember they are all high retention views which means at one point my video will take off.
