I think Rooney will do well this world cup for England, he is moving and passing the ball really well. I fear that by playing him in that sort of position though, we are relying on Sturridge to be able to finish - This world cup with a rested Rooney I'd prefer to see him up front (I know he's not done well in the past, but that's due to playing so many games in a season) We are rated 10th by Fifa for a reason, I expect us to get out of the group stages and anything after that is a bonus.
