Are Twitter accounts no longer being suspended?

I've noticed over the last few months that with new accounts, no matter how many people you follow or how many tweets sent, the odd account just gets locked, but not permanently suspended.

Of course, it might still happen but it appears to be less common.

They banned me one account 4 days ago...

What did you do with those 2 accounts that you think caused them to be banned?

The account was tweeting regularly, I just signed in to tweet manually one tweet with shortened link... :/
