looking for ways to make money online, i really like a few tv shows, i usually wait til after and watch them on a select few websites

like gotham today, i searched gotham season episode 3 in google, and the third link or something had a traffic counter, and it showed how many people are on the website and what they searched etc, and it must of had 200 people per minute on the website looking to watch the show, said the coutnry and everything

it's illegal to make a website dedicated to this right?

also, how do some websites get away with doing it? i've been watching tv shows on this watchnow.info for quite some time, and the website hasn't went down

how would these sites even make money? ads during loading the show/

not sure how some websites upload the show 5 minutes after it aired either though

not really looking to do this, just curious

I saw someone streaming "the simpsons" live on YouTube and getting tons of subscribers...

A lot dont get taken down due to offshore hosts and bulletproof ignored dmca tos.

everything that violates copyrights is illegal (in certain places)

not many online and most scam. if you can not scam you make money

They only problem with such sites is when they remove your website from Google search using DMCA complaint.

I think many get away from the DMCA complaints as most of them don't host it on their actual website and just have it embedded in their site as it is hosted on sites like Gorillavideo.

I am talking about Google search results.

Through a third party like youtube you might be ok, but I wouldn't run a site solely dedicated to providing copyright content (note that I said 'providing', this would include linking as well as hosting). Just do a google search for "tv links uk arrest" it's not a position you want to be in.
