Hey folks,
I wanted to open this up because I’ve had a frustrating experience recently and I know I’m not the only one.
I ran a CPL campaign in the insurance leadgen vertical — clean traffic, mostly native + some email (double opt-in). EPC was decent, and conversions were flowing. Then out of nowhere:
Payout got slashed
No report or reason
Network said “traffic didn’t meet quality expectations”
No feedback, no warning. Just scrubbed.
And the kicker? They kept the leads and closed the campaign a week later.
I get that traffic needs to convert on the backend — but if we’re not even told what went wrong, how the hell do we optimize?
So here’s my question:
Are traffic audits just a way for networks to protect their margins now?
Is this happening more with sensitive verticals like CC Submit, PIN Submit, Loan, Insurance?
Also:
Which networks (in your experience) are fair and actually give proper feedback?
And which ones should we absolutely avoid?
Looking forward to your thoughts.
