I've always been against the use of Bots especially when it comes to my trades, but recently, I've been meeting with a lot of people that claim to have success with bot trading.

I'd like to see what other traders think and if trading bots are really as effective as a lot of people claim.

Most bots are scams or not profitable
If every bot was profitable, everyone would be doing that...I think you would need to buy a premium bot with previous proved results, don't ask me where to find it

GMGN and BullX offer bots on Telegram for trading (they're used for pump alerts, especially the GMGN one); if you're new to memecoin trading, I don't recommend using any bot at all. At the end of the day, these are tools for the market; decision-making (i.e., when to buy, sell, etc.) should be better done while monitoring.

I agree with you. Bots are ment to augment your trading capabilities. Some are profitable though especially those on cex. Noticed there's one on BG rewarding users with some usdt if you trade tokens like Catie, eigen with their bots. If you're bored or looking to challenge yourself. might be a good bet. Ahaha...

No, they aren't profitable. What's profitable is patience and knowledge.

It will be next to impossible to find a working bit. I have only seen scams in this.

Are those people also pushing you to purchase their bots ? Sure sign of scam.

Don't go with shit bots.

It's always better to buy and sell at your own what ever trading you do it's not just crypto.

You can never tell how well you would get with trading bots, just like some people don't do well with futures trading and say it is not good if you meet someone with a bad experience with trading bots, they will tell you their negative experience and say it is not good too, meanwhile that could be where your strength is.

What I will say is to remind you of the golden rule in crypto, never trade with the amount you can't afford to lose, and then you might want to give it a try and then comeback to share what you think and what you can suggest for others that can help them, including us get better. I use it at important times when I am free or in some recurring trading bot carnivals on Bitget and some mega places, reason being that, those are not confined to a specific place, but are public and transparent, so you are safer from manipulation than when it is private.

It's getting increasingly difficult. Trading sportsbetting markets is much more profitable, I gave up on crypto arbitrage a few years ago

There are profitable bots but you will pay a big price for it

It's like SEO bots

The way you use them can be profitable

The bots themselves aren't, otherwise everyone would profit and nobody would lose, which is impossible

There are probably some profitable bots somewhere. But getting them at your disposal is not so easy, apparently.

I agree here. I know a handful of profitable algorithms, but the cost is around $10-$25K to get started. If you have the funds its great for the more risky part of your overall portfolio. I would never recommend to go all in on a trading software.

For trades bot will not work and never be profitable. DYOR.

Sometimes you get the impression that only the authors make money from these lucrative bots. By selling bots.

Bots can execute trades far more quickly than people would, so they're beneficial if you want to enter or exit a position fast.

Trading bots can be effective for executing pre-defined strategies quickly and emotionlessly, but they require proper setup, monitoring, and risk management to avoid significant losses.
