are trackback links worth anything in terms of ranking?

I'm going through my compeitiors website backlinks and noticed they have some

However only some websites display trackbackcs on their website pages


pls help

Trackback links are only good for lower tiers.

Nowadays I would use them only to index the lower tiers. I won't use them directly to my money site, nor to my T1.

exactly and just trackbacks are not enough for indexing too .

Do them for your tier 2 and 3 links. Don't send them to money site.

there are a lot of sites that have disabled comments BUT you can leave a trackback!
so high pr sites where trackbacks are enabled and you can leave one! why not?
Really low OBL and high pr....a link is a link

Good for tier 2 and above.

I forgot toally about trackbacks.. thanks for making me aware of it, just started my first batch.. Does anyone knows if it is the same as refspam in Xrumour ?

I still use them for tier 3. For indexing purposes only
