Hey guys,

Do you think image, video, pdf, audio submission websites "backlinks" have value and affect the ranking in Google?

Good for diversity don’t think you can rank but no harm in adding few of them

These links are best for diversity. If you combine these type of links with the other links, you will surely get some movement in serp.

If they are DO FOLLOW and the domains they come from are NICHE-relevant, then YES, they would be valuable as diversity links.

But they aren't DO FOLLOW or they are mostly from non-niche related sources, they'll be less valuable to you.

I think these 3 image, video, pdf will take an affect about to rank the website.

the only time that you would be hurting yourself, if you want to get ranked for a particular country, and you getting links from sites that you have mentioned might mess up your country specific percent backlinks.

for example, if you want to get ranked for a keyword in France, you should have most of your backlinks from IPs inside France. Otherwise, you will have a hard time.

A link listed in an image carries no weight.

I don't think a link in a PDF carries any weight - possibly in the future, but I've yet to ever come across a site that Google listed a PDF as a backlink in the Google Webmaster tool or with the linksto: search command. Submission site i...ks to discover/explore new links on the web).
