Are these keywords any good?

Exact match 10,000/5,000 and 22,000/10,000 for the two keywords on global/local monthly searches.

I'm near the top of the 2nd page currently, and after backlink research the #1 spots look like they could be taken with a little more effort.

But here's my question:

Would it still be worth going after #1 for keywords with this traffic, or should I look for something more lucrative?

Basically, in a nutshell, are these good numbers?

numbers depend on what the traffic's worth

- if your market is mesothelioma lawyers in los angeles, then 500 hits a day with a conversion ration of 1% could be worth $25 a click x 5 = $125 a day

- if your market is justin bieber, then 500 hits a day with a conversion ratio of 1% could be worth $0.25 a click x 5 = $1.25 a day

you should have an indication on the traffic revenue from where you are now, and generally ECPM's go up the further up the rankings you go.
