There was a massive algo change about two weeks ago that is making many big accounts lose followers.

As for that spike, it may be fake or it may not be. The page might've gotten lucky with a viral video, might've done a lot of SFS with other big pages that day or yeah, might've bought fakes.

PM me with the account name OP and I'll tell you for sure if it's fake or not.

They openly announce it to everyone. Google it.
The reason for this is also same.
Plenty of SMM providers inject followers to @Instagram hoping that this would make them bullet proof.

And Instagram Algo change is always aimed at cracking down on fake accounts.
I don't see a reason why Instagram would shut down millions of its genuine reason.
Not a great way to run a company in my opinion.

Instagram admitted to buying fakes on their own page? Do you have a source for that?

And so what if Instagram is purging fake accounts, that doesn't mean that if a person has bots following them that they bought those fakes.

In their our fight against fake follower they've lost millions in a matter of days.
But isn't that just too obvious? I'm surprised you don't know about this.
Most SMM panels did this as a fail safe thinking that if their bots are following Instagram then they'd be safe.

I can see them purging their own fakes, but I don't see them admitting to buying fakes, and I even checked Google. It doesn't seem logical either. If they wanted followers, they could easily have every single person on the app following them since they make the rules.

Anyway, check all the top 100 pages, they're all losing "followers", but I doubt they all intentionally bought fakes. I have a friend at 2 mill who's losing a few hundred daily and I know for a fact that he didn't buy fakes.

These alorithm changes they affect the likes too?My account with 860 followers had been getting 160-190 likes before. Now they barely get 130. Its somewhere between 90-125 now.

13 000 new followers in one day... That's obviously not real, not even talking about the fact most of other days the low-quality followers were dropping and have not even sticked there properly.

It is fake becuse it is impossible but may be some followers real
