Are these examples of Bad IP?

One of my friend sent me this. His home ISP is CGNAT type and has both ipv4 and ipv6.

As you can see ipv4 shows a fraud score of 88% but ipv6 is clean. He has dynamic ip not static.

He does not spam or do crap things. However, because the IP is dynamic, it is assigned to other users who did engage in such spammy and crappy, which causes the IP to gain a bad reputation.

So the question is whether this kind of IP is considered bad by Youtube and Facebook? Could accounts get shadowbanned, ask for verification loop, have content not pushed etc?

If you are not sure the ip is good or bad just reset for a new IP since it has dynamic ip.

Yeah honestly, that’s super common with CGNAT. He’s basically sharing that IPv4 with a bunch of random people, so if someone abused it before, the score goes up. It doesn’t mean YouTube or Facebook automatically see him as bad. On its own, a normal dynamic residential IP usually isn’t something to stress about.

ltesocks is right that a high fraud score on a CGNAT ip is mostly inherited reputation, not a personal flag. the important thing is that platforms like Facebook or YouTube don't rely solely on ipqualityscore scores. they have their own internal risk models. so an 88 fraud score on an external tool doesn't directly translate to a ban on any specific platform.

that said it's still a useful signal, a shared CGNAT ip with a high abuse score is worth avoiding for account creation even if it's technically your home connection. for those situations a clean mobile proxy or ISP proxy is a safer fallback.
