Are These Do-Follow Links Good Or Not

I was looking at some wordpress blogs which use Intense Debate for their comment system. It seems all the links from the comments are do-follow. So far so good. But i remembered that Intense Debate comments are actually in a javascript, hosted separately. And a few years back, google would not pass any link juice via such links.

So my question: are Intense Debate links good for seo or are they useless?
