Thank you, I dont have experience with metrics etc so I wanted to ask.the stats themselves are bad, you can't have DR 70 without any RDs. That's just not possible, so either Ahrefs' metrics have gone astray, or there's something wrong somewhere else. We would have to check the domains in question, but don't make them public as you'd be ruining someone's legitimate business
asking is good, so no problemThank you, I dont have experience with metrics etc so I wanted to ask.
Thanks for this. Would you recommend disallowing all of these except the one with 10 page traffic? Also be aware that domain rating is not only useful. You could have 100 DR80+ links all in profiles within the page. A profile that is never gonna be visited and without a single link within the main page, so virtually the on-page rating is 0. So if OPR = 0 and DR = 100, say that 100 x 0 = 0 value.
In this case most of this links have almost 0 traffic, so they seem pretty useless except 1. A page little traffic, even 10, it's a good signal (not domain traffic)
I apologize for intervening into your discussion with @SirLouen but I noticed a lot of people start disavowing links too fast, and that's not always good. Actually, it's not good most of the time, for 2 reasons:Thanks for this. Would you recommend disallowing all of these except the one with 10 page traffic?
No need to disavow them. They are just not simply great, but probably not harmful. Thanks for this. Would you recommend disallowing all of these except the one with 10 page traffic?
The seller might have links from sites that hides themselves from Ahrefs crawlers. Otherwise it's impossible to have such DR and traffic with such RD. But then again it's definitely possible to alter the stats, but not easy.asking is good, so no problem
Let's hope that someone can interpret these metrics better than me because I'm not an Ahrefs user so I might be wrong in my assumptions. But I do know for sure that you can't have such high authority (70 in this case) without having a single backlink, because Ahrefs calculate their DR score based on the number and quality of backlinks, so you can see why I'm so confused
EDIT: although, it's possible that these sites block Ahfrefs' crawler (a lot of PBN sellers do this), but if that's the case the DR should not be properly calculated either, which also makes no sense...
That's my thought too. Google demotes useless links these days.No need to disavow them. They are just not simply great, but probably not harmful.
Something sounds off honestly about the stats. Something doesn't add up here! I am really curious to see the domains.I purchased a few links from sellers on this forum in the last 1-2 months and I'm wondering if these ahrefs metrics for domains are any good? DR, UR, Dt, Rd, Ld, Ext., Pt..

That was my thought initially but he mentioned "these ahrefs metrics for domains".Possible.
Maybe OP has analyzed an inner page (not the domain entirely). And the inner page has only 1 RD.
Domain has a DR 70.
And we don't know how many RD the domain has.
good point, I didn't think about itMaybe OP has analyzed an inner page (not the domain entirely). And the inner page has only 1 RD.
