Are there still people using myspace?

8 years ago this was my favorite site. I loved myspace as a teenager lol
it's a shame that I didn't know about making money online back then. If I did I would have exploited the shit out of this site.
I knew how to mass message my 14,000 friends within 2 minutes and you could even put clickable links in the message I think. Paradise.
 
Going to myspace pages was just too much of a hassle. Kinda like tumblr is becoming.

Many that I have spoken to remember it but say they no longer use it and wouldn't go back to it now that Twitter and Facebook are as popular as they are. It seems to definitely not be as popular anymore in terms of social media.
 
I still keep my account alive althoug I use it like once a year to remind myself of what I used to listen to :)
 
I only hear of people logging in to find old pictures. Other than that I don't think anyone uses it anymore. They tried to bring it back for the use of musicians, but I don't think many really use it as a media marketing tool.
 
I dont think its a good source to make money compared to other more popular sources now. They have shifted to a totally new niche and target market.
 
I believe it's still used regularly and it does still have a high ranking which proves that however depending on what you would want to use MySpace for it may not benefit you. I found that it seems to be more music related now than anything else so it may be wise to use MySpace if you were promoting some kind of music over anything else as you would get better results.
 
I suppose there are still quite a few people using MySpace. A couple of years ago they had around 31 Million active people per month, but I am unsure how many unique visitors they have per month now. However, I still suppose it's a lot.

There's an article that claims that Myspace still receives 50 million unique visitors each month, although I'm not sure how true this is since I just skimmed through the article.
 
I still believe there are people using MySpace but not for the same reasons they used to. It seems to be more geared towards music now than anything else so trying to promote something other than music on it would probably not be successful.
 
I would imagine there are still people using MySpace yes for those who have a reason to use MySpace for their purpose. I personally stopped using it a while back because I had no use for it any more.
 
Well, I have been checking myspace lately and it's dead. A few bands, some music, but overall as a social network for IM, it's not feasible.
 
I honestly do not even know when the last time I logged into my myspace account was. Just do not care for the site at all and I do not think that too many are on it anyways.
 
Everyone still talks about it as if it was just yesterday when people stopped using them. Of course they're a good source of traffic, they get a little over half a million page views a day, that's a lot more than i get!
 
Oly thing that good about myspace is the design/HTML where facebook's HTML looks cheap/homemade
 
Myspace still gets alot of traffic from ppl logging to get "throwback thursday pics"
