I do have advice for getting approved, I've actually done this for several people.
Apply for the network and tell them you plan to promote via:
Pay per click advertising
Mailing lists (double opt-in)
You'll receive a phone call to review your information, as long as you speak confidently and answer their questions you'll get accepted into 90% of the networks out there. The key really is to sound confident, make sure you tell them you've got at least 2 years of experience.
