Are there any web design online courses?

Don't waste money with teamtreehouse. I'm an experienced front end developer, and I joined their trial just to see what they offer for html css js etc, it's garbage compared to code academy. The best way to learn is to learn the basics at code academy, then start small projects and learn as you work.

Are you going to say why, or just leave it at "Totally disagree".

I learned the basics at codeacdemy 3 years ago, now I can build anything I can think of.

It doesn't matter where you learn the basics, what matters is that you don't waste money learning something that's free on another site.

In other words, why spend $30 a month for treehouse, when you can get the equivalent at codeacademy.

HTML, CSS, JS. All the same languages. There's no "secret tricks" you learn at either of the places.

The same education, different cost.

You can learn a lot from internet.. just Google it and know more about what you need..
