I used to use a service from a company called verdad media. They provided monthly SEO and their service actually worked... until Penguin 2.1... He's all but disappeared and left me to find a new SEO company. There are SOOOOOO many BS threads in the BST section it's hard to filter through the junk and find a service that actually WORKS.

Yes, it takes time for SEO to really kick in, but it's impossible to wait 3-6 months testing services only to find out they are junk.

How do YOU decide who to buy from? Is there anyone offering any monthly SEO thats actually worth the cost? I don't mind paying the money because ultimately its an investment, but DAMN! It seems like everyones service is full of shit!

Have you spoken to http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/members/186119-taktical.html I've been to his offices in NYC and can vouch he is for real.

Let him know I sent you.

Any questions LMK

Look at who is providing the service and who is buying from them.

If you PM providers with your requirements you should be able to tell who is legit by their response.

Every thread in the marketplace goes through a rigorous testing procedure. If you are not getting what the seller advertises first contact them via pm or on their thread. If you still don't get a response and you have purchased through the BHW marketplace, then let them know you will shitlist them this typically get a reaction (link to shit list - http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/f31-shit-list/ ).

Still no action?
At that point follow the shit list terms make your post and a mod will get involved.

Involving the whole BHW community makes the marketplace a much better ecosystem.

It will really help us, Thank you so much.

Many services "work" or whatever you call it, but the thing is, you're paying for someone to do something for you. What that something is, is decided by YOU. You need to figure out what you need and what kind of service delivers what you require. Once you have that understanding, any service that delivers as advertised will work.

Are you still looking for a service? If yes, then PM me.

I am beta testing a service of mine.

I Agree but we every service don't work for every one just because you keep trying new services if you don't see result asap.
We need to realize it takes time but if it doesn't work for you me or either we need to realize where are we going wrong. Is it from seller side not providing what he promised or services not upto the mark or is it the buyer that keep buying links from different guys and end up blaming 9/10 services he tried.

1You havent tried any service yet claim its all shit, and you dont want to spend time to test and find what works for you and your budget and want others to tell you what works so spoon feed you!?!

You need to do your research, decide what you want and test test test...no other way around it...to find what combo works for you.

The op is not concerned about not getting what the seller advertises - they are concerned that what the seller advertises simply doesn't work. And this is a legit concern. There are a lot of things that worked in 2013 that will get you penalized now.

Most if not all the services in the Marketplace work, its just a question of how long they will work.

If you are worried about your site and the risk of a penalty, then go white hat (whatever white hat is). If your site gets penalized after using some of those services, don't be surprised.

Private blog networks are the most risky services you can purchase and they are also the most effective ways to boost your SERPs.

I know you said that you don't want to wait months and find out if a service is good but.....a lot of people test out services on a different site (a non-money site). This way you aren't hurting your money site if the service is low quality. This is just what I have learned from others. I'm super paranoid and still do everything myself lol. Hope you find what you're looking for.

Research is key here when buying a service. Many services do work in my personal opinion, I've used them when I've needed to and I've seen good results. Do your homework and you'll soon find out what's best for you and your needs.

Look when you buy a service you need it spread out -- you buy 100 links you don't want them all at once and then nothing for 30 days.

Seo is way harder and more complicated than ever -- so you have to realize what your buying.

Also every Site has a limit on how many low value links it can take -- before you need real sites linking to your site and give you the boost your looking for.

I'd second Taktical as a guy to speak to - to figure out what may work for you.

all the best

It's pretty tricky since it can take a while for things to kick in.
As someone mentioned above, I test things on my non-money sites and just put it down to business cost.
Like any business, some financial risk has to be taken but I do understand that you also need to know that you haven't been throwing your money away for the last six months! Such is the nature of seo and hiring other people!:)

Not all my websites are equal. The same SEO service will have vastly different effects on different websites.

Analyze your link portfolio and on page seo before investing in a SEO service.

e.g: You don't want to purchase a SEO service with low value links when your website is still new with no links pointing to it.

It does not matter if the item is intangible or tangible if you are not receiving what was promised and
advertised on their sales thread then they are liable and you are doing the whole community plus yourself a
a favor by reporting it through the proper channels.

Same problem... Have been looking for a good seo service sick of wasting money on shitty seo services

At the same time, you can't throw a brand new domain and expect page 1 for "make money online" - surely it makes more sense to research and work out what's realistic before hiring someone and then being let down. I guess it depends what's promised...if you have the time, probably best to do the seo yourself though!
