Hi
a friend of me just sent me email list and i want to make a try with email marketing so that i need a free email marketing service to do so

I highly recommend mailchimp (dot) com, well this site got PR 9 :eek:
 
i tried mailchimp and they prevented sending emails to my list because of their manual review for my email content and its keywords and it did not continue sending
 
listwire does not support importing exist email list
 
Mailchimp doen't allow affiliate marketing.
I got banned because I promoted clickbank products for my legit opt-in list.

I switched over to Amazon SES. Sounds good, I wil truly test it tomorrow. Give it a try.
However it may be a little tricky to setup.
 
if you using your blog to submit your emails, you can try wysija wp plugin. Edit and send email straight from your wordpress dashboard and have import/export subscribers function. Limited to 2000 subscribers for free version.
 
Amamzon SES looks good, espcially at $0.10 per thousand emails.

Wasn't aware that Mailchimp were heavy handed re affiliate messages. Might not bother with 'em now.
 
Check out GROUPMAIL from INFACTA.COM. They have a freeware version available
 
I would recommend mailchimp, it creates a fully managed subscriber database. The interface is intuitive to wade through and should not be a problem for anyone used to working with any of the major social networking sites.
 
if your email list is not optin or has spam traps or has lost of invalid mails then there is no point of using that list.
Use it only if you know its good . Good Luck
 
If you are in the U.S you better know what you are doing! or else you will find your self in trouble.
