Not all wso's are crap. You have to find the jewels among therm. The recent "sore thumb" WSO has a pretty cool plugin. TI have found some that have software, themes, templates, or graphics to often be very good.
The ones for the money making methods, I don't waste my time or money, I have plenty from the downloads section I haven't tried yet.
When a WSO comes out about a new platform, like when pinterest popped up, getting a well written wso can substitute for a lot of research.
The problem with wso's is you cannot trust the seller to tell you the truth nor the WF members to give a true review. You have to take a chance that the WSO will actually do what it is supposded, and if it doesn't, get your money back.
That being said, I buy less than 5 or six in any given year. I never buy the methods. Even if some guru did make a lot of money I am not naive to believe that he did it with the same resources I have available.
I am a sucker for really useful or PLR themes, templates, plugins, and software for pad submissions.
