are the article bots for higher views still good?

hi
there use to be alot of talk about bots that would raise your view count like it does in youtube but lately there hasn't been nothing mentioned. are they still good to use, the ones in past posts? or have they been detected and no longer useful?

if you mean for AC view i think AC has methods to figure it out specially if you use proxies to view the articles.

Has anyone tested the Scrapebox pinger to see if you can inflate your views on AC, works ok for EZA. I guess that would depend if they can detect its a proxy or not
