Are Stock Videos Monetizable on YT?

Lets say we just grab a punch of stock videos and make them 10mins long with a long tail keyword so it gets some views.

Does it count as copyright?

Providing you have permission there shouldn't be a problem but it would have to be engaging for viewers to watch until the end or most of it for the ads to be effective. A lot of people tell stories and use stock videos to run in the background to give the viewer something to look at and earn money from it. Really depends what you want to do, but just make sure that the licence allows you to use it publicly to prevent any issues down the line.
