Are spammy apps filtering E-Mail data?

Hey!

I have ever wondered why there are apps like "See how to see your profile" etc. Because they arent trying to sell anything, just grew their apps and spam their applications among the users. Where do they profit? Is it true that they get all the friends email adresses after the user allowed the app or where do they really profit?

Usually if you can't figure it out you don't need too... I have worked with similar pages in the past and made revenue through rockyou/cubics.

Yeah but I am just interested if it is technically possible to grab all friends user data and save it automatically as soon as someone allows one app?

Yes generally people will request e-mail access permissions with their apps and save them. Others leave that permission out and only request relevant permissions to test the theory that fewer permission requests = longer-lasting applications.

There are a lot of ways to monetize with an app, some might be doing this but most probably have some intricate ways to make money

e-mail access permissions is what mostly these apps are after... lot of money can be made after that
