Are same anchors required to pass on linkjuice?

When creating link pyramids, is it necessary to use the same anchor text as "connection" between all tiers to get the maximum linkjuice passed on?

So for example when linking to a web 2.0 property that links to my main site, should I use the same anchor that links to the main site?

And when creating linkwheels, should I connect 2 equal web 2.0 properties with the same keyword that links to my site?
