Are Reddit ******** Links?

I'm confused. I keep hearing that Reddit is nofollow and you need multiple upvotes to turn the link into a ********. However, I just inspected a bunch of links with no upvotes, and some with thousands of upvotes and found no difference in the links. In fact, I don't see the NoFollow tag anywhere!

You need to use old.reddit.com to see the nofollow/f.ollow status.


Reddit redesign has split the URLS from the title anchor all together.
 
So the new site only does ******** ?
 
Is your opinion, is Reddit worth building backlinks on?

To your homepage but nothing else

Your printscreen shows the url to that threads comment section not to a domain.

I'm pretty certain you are correct, but I only know this to be true for links within comments. Not sure about profile posts.
 
Why do you all put ********* or a . In the middle of the word?

from a random post (with no upvote at all, posted 5 minutes ago) I see this...

This is a D-F link... I don't understand how it is nofollow :o

Maybe I did not understand something :(

Yeah i see ******** only too. Even if i open the post in a private tab the link seems to be ******** as well... Which is good i guess XD
 
To make it do-follow post need to get:
posted from high karma account
comments from high karma accounts
upvotes from high karma accounts

and all accs must be aged
