Are Recipe Site worth flipping?

Buying a domain then building a site off it, anyone have some experience in the recipe niche?

One of the great niche if you have unique recipes...

The trick here would be to find a niche with high traffic buy a domain around that niche, add content and articles become a google + author
then build links to the site you will need to add content weekly, and have good social signals (facebook twiiter etc) to get good site metrics invite guest bloggers to write bylined articles to write for you, once you have high traffic and good site retention you then would be in a position to flip the site.
