Are real infos required for Adsense?

So when applying for monetization on Youtube an Adsense account is required, but since I hate giving out personal details and it seems like Adsense wants my real personal details I was wondering what the exact reason would be not to simply give them fake details. Would there be any problem with that or is it absolutely necessary to give them my real info?

How would you expect to be paid in fake details? Why don't you like giving out your details, it's not like Google are going to scam you.

Doesnt adsense have to option to get a payout through paypal? And is it somehow possible to simply change the details later on?
 
Yes they are required, so you can get paid via your bank account!
 
You don't necessarily need to give them your 'real' details but you need to give them actual real information, for the purpose of verification. Doesn't have to be yours.
I don't know how adsense in your country is approved.

Two of my accounts do not have my information but they have real information of my cousin and other relative.

Also, payment details doesn't always have to match with the adsense details.

In the aforementioned adsense accounts, I received payments with my personal bank accounts.

Yes. You will get a mail and also your bank account details must be real to get paid.
 
if u dont want to give ur personal info, buy pin verified adsense account (around $50-$60 in my country), u only need to add ur bank details to receive payment.
 
Sure don't make any fake infos in AdSense, I did same before years ago and i got suspended.
