Title says it all, is PTC advertising useful for any kind of site? Did anyone try it?

i tried advertising incentive email submits they work fine for me i got 30+ CR ... just pick a incentive Email submit ( ask your AM which has better CR )use gaming offers like free PS, xbox etc ... normally there are kids are clicking ads in may PTC sites so they attract on them and you can get leads. just select the offer country wise

You sure it was PTC traffic ?

Arent you talking about GPT (Get Paid To) site traffic, as with that you could get higher CR as you said, and people do get $$$ after they complete the offer, but with PTC they just click ads and wait for time to count and then close it

Hi OP,

As in what, do you mean PTC to generate some bucks on a daily basis or using PTC to target your website(s)?

Thanks!

Considering there are advertisers, it must be profitable for some people. I haven't tried it, but I didn't hear great things about it. My advice, give it a go with a small budget, don't risk too much.

It really depends on your offer and the terms of the program you're promoting. Several years back I tried advertising a free sign-up PPL offer on a PTC site called Linkgrand and to my surprise I was converting nicely! Problem was I didn't get paid for the leads I sent because although I wasn't paying people directly to sign-up for the program I was promoting, they were being paid by that site to click on the ads - so the merchant considered it incent and didn't pay me and banned me from their program. Oh well...at least I know it can work! If you own the product then it's no worries - but if you're promoting an affiliate program the network/merchant may not like this and refuse to pay.

Thanks for the tips guys. I will try a few ads in some popular sites and see how it goes. I see that in some sites yu can even click yourself and then use the earnings to buy ads, maybe I'll do that.
