Hi, yesterday I started another backlinking methode for my main keyword. I started doing 11 Profile Backlinks from High PR vBulletin Boards (PR 3-7) - I scraped the links with scrapebox and I only took profiles which are visible to the public.

So I did 11 backlinks yesterday for my main keyword (wit very hard competition). Before it was climbing up steadily without google dances and now I got a ranking loss of 12 spots (before Page 2 now Page 4) ...

What should I do?

The chances that Google's seen more than 1 of your 11 profile links in the past 24 hours is actually pretty slim. Unless you've done some manual indexing solutions. Google takes TIME to index links, and especially low content links like profile links. Assuming you haven't done any indexing methods on them.

Don't worry about a thing, Google regularly shifts around the results pages 2++. Keep building links, diversify your anchor text and URLs on your domain, and add more content.

So would it be a bad idea to ping those profile links?

Superlinks is right. google probably hasn't even seen those links yet.

No not at all, there are also many services on BHW that can help get you links indexed.

Thanks for the reply, if I did around 30 forums in a day with my anchor text and url in a signature on high ranking forums then indexed them via ScrapeBox would google not be able to pick this up as an anomaly or would it be okay?

Could Google pick them up as an anomaly? Sure, but that won't effect your money site since you are buffering your money site with the profiles. Worst thing Google will do is not count your profile links towards your site.

Don't worry about it though, with only 30 forums a day you won't be in trouble! People use Xrumer to do thousands a day, each and every day even on crappy low quality domains.

Keep in mind to build links to your internal pages and change up the anchor text. I generally do 60% to my homepage/primary keywords, and then break the other 40% up to supporting internal pages and easier competition keywords.

yeah I forgot to mention, that I pinged them via Scrapebox Rapid Indexer - so I will continue with 10-15 profile links everyday?

Thanks a lot for that advice, I appreciate it

OP - sorry to kinda semi hijack your thread

Absolutely, just read my advice on the other posts in this thread. Remember to link to internal page and diversify keywords.

What about not using scrapebox for a website of blog?
How do you rank it?

What does it matter whether or not the home page of the forum is high pr or not?

A profile link is a profile link no matter where it is placed or what forum it is on.

You need thousands if you are in a competitive area of seo. And the power of them does not last long.

I think profile backlinks are not bad. They are good actually. Because its different links (not just blog comment, article links and so on).

But how about to ping your backlinks, I dont know. Is there anyone here that can tell us (Im CURIOUS), about how to ping the backlinks or not?

Should we let google index them manually or not? Why and Why?

Dude, did you say 11 - or 11K - or 11M?

Because 11 profiles is not even a back link strategy - its something to do between watching YouTube clips of hill-billies getting hit in the crotch by 6yr old with wiffle ball bats.. If you build 11K profiles in XRumer and don't do any indexing then you'll only see 3-500 in the first month. 11 Profiles - well WTF cares.

Surely, it's just like blog comments.

Some will last hours, some will last days and some will last months/years.

Throw enough mud at the wall...
