Do you get better results running your own private automation stack (custom scripts, private proxies, self-hosted tools), or are public tools still competitive
Yes, custom scripts give me better results. I don't use private proxies. I use third party to host apps, I don't host my apps.
But I use public tools too.
Private automation usually performs better long term. It reduces shared footprints and IP related risks. You control scaling, timing, and patterns. This lowers detection chances and improves stability. Public tools can work, but results are less reliable in competitive niches.
Private tool setups offer more control and lower footprint, but black hat tools public or private carry significant penalty risk, so long term results favour compliant, sustainable SEO strategies.
In general, a custom automation system (custom scripts, private proxies, self-hosted tools) gives you more control, scalability, and competitive advantage, but if the strategy and data aren’t strong, public tools can still achieve comparable results.
