Are plain niche edits missing recrawl triggers?

People underestimate how content updates affect crawl priority. Pages that change get revisited, pages that don’t often get ignored.

Regular niche edits and Guest posts are strong, but it takes quite a time

So how about this concept:
Niche edits + fresh content added to the page.

Why it makes sense:

• An aged URL is already indexed
• New content gives Google a reason to revisit
• The link sits inside fresh context, not old text

This setup feels better suited for mid-competition keywords.
Not saying it replaces guest posts, but it works well for supporting money pages

This is true. edited pages often recrawled and there is a great chances of getting better ranking. Updated content and info provides a better signals to google.
