maybe noob question but i've been out of the game for a while. wondering are no-follow links worth paying for? do they have any value to google?

I'd say thats a toss up. I've seen quite a few cases were google ignores the no-follow attribute and indexes the content anyways.

no follow and no index is not the same, as long as your robot put it index, one way or another it will, while no follow mean that backlink of yours wont be counted as vote for your site.

to me, a link is a link :), no follow and do follow i'll take them all, but diff people come with diff experiences, just pay attention about the ratio etc2. imho

No-follow links are useful if they are posted on a relevant website where people who would be interested in your content would see the links. For example, if you had a website that focused on cosmetics and you posted your link on a popular Facebook fan page about cosmetics, there's a good chance that you could receive a decent amount of traffic through that no-follow link. While these no-follow links do not usually affect your rankings in the SERPs, they can still provide you with highly relevant traffic.

do follow link is the best as compared the no follow

if you have nofollow link then your website banned

Wow you're special.

nofollow doesn't pass page rank, but whether it adds great value or not is for you to test.

Probably check the ratio of nofollow that a large authority site has and emulate that in your own efforts.

You won't see many brand sites without at least 10-15% nofollow links. It just shows Google that your backlink profile is "natural".

Nofollow links from high authority domains are very good. Although it passes no link juice but it's of great value in the eyes of the Google. Moreover, nofollow links in your link profile means your links are natural.

When it comes to SERP, no-follow does nothing - it doesnt make you rank higher or lower because Google simply does not take it into account. A lot of people will tell you about its importance, but really it's only important when it comes to passing manual reviews (which is important if you're into black hat).

Would you like to be the one who dont have Nf links in your profile? Oo
as i have seen so far, big players all have Some of Nf links.

And, as i see thoses, they are generally natural links ( or screw ser campain ;). )

The links do not count for a great deal, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't have any. Any site wanting to appear natural will require a link landscape that includes variety at that means both nofollow and ********
