Yes, specialised changes are a successful link-building tactic.
Truly a valid point.Yeah, but you have to do them when your site already has better metrics and natural traffic flow with relevant articles, You can use niche edit as a booster that will bring better traffic.
Is it possible to insert a link on this page if it has no traffic and no backlinks pointing to it?Niche edits still work, but you have to have a proper strategy with them. Here are some rules I apply when using niche edits:
- Use only whitelisted websites. There are a ton of suppliers out there who sell niche edits that are on hacked websites with added content. You can always spot these types of niche edits, as they usually have good metrics, are cheap, content is usually spun/garbage, and the articles are almost always added recently. These types of niche edits will make for a bad day when Google comes knocking.
- Only use DR 40+ niche edits for your money site.
- Only use DR >39 for tiered linking.
- Use branded and generic anchors (with occasional partial/exact)
Niche edits have their place in your link profile and when used properly with a diversity of other quality link types, they can be highly effective.
