Are new TLDs valuable?

Hello guys,

I was wondering whether the new TLDs are valuable in any way? If you have a domain like seo.business, can it be sold for a higher price or it must have a website attached to it. Are these TLDs easy to rank in Google?

according to Google they treat all the TLD are the same but we have not seen any effect on other than .com, org, net, info rank higer than other tld.

If it is about domain selling (flipping) than yes, it could have some effect if you can buy domain with some popular keyword and wait for some time, but after all these new zones popped up it doesn't have that value any more.
So it is basically about finding some one ready to pay for just attractive name instead of investing in real promotion.

So, you would say that the domain is attractive but it's all luck, whether or not you will find someone willing to buy it. I can sell it in days, months or even years?.
