Are my backlinks UNindexed, or DEindexed?

So I've been making Web 2.0 sites for backlinks using 100% unique articles (hand written by me; none of them from article spinners) I went through my list to make sure they were all active still and I figured I might as well check if they're indexed while I'm at it.

I Googled the URL of the site (that's how you check, isn't it?) and of all my Web 2.0 sites, 30 of them did not show up. Some of them showed up in spam comments, since I had bought scrapebox, xrumer, and wiki link blasts for them to get them indexed.

My question is, is there a way to tell if Google has actively removed the site from the listings (DEindexed) or if they have just not been crawled yet (UNindexed)

Check in GWT in the "Index status" is one way or search site:domain-name.tld

Wait for a while, It will index. Usually takes a week.

Did you do anything to try to index them, like pinging, backlink building to them and etc.. ? If not you might wanna try to push them a bit

Also things aren't indexed immediately, you should wait some time..

Share them on social media and submit to them Rss feed websites.
