Are Micro-Niche still working?

Hey
I'm new and the only thing I wanna try and do is Adsense because it seems to fit me better.
All I wanted to know is the Micro-Niche sites are still successful because I found some threads and read on other forums that Micro Niche don't work anymore.
Anyone can help with a good and informative answer?

They are working if you do the proper ranking after putting them in place. Which involves more ressources that what you'll get in the short/middle term.

Go for authority sites

Mirco niches are still working great, you will get a lot of whitehat MOZ loving nay sayers, telling you "to go for authority sites" just ignore them, it is all about keyword research (the competition, use longtailpro) and backlinks, build a site with 10 300/500 pages of content, ad some videos, connect some social media like twitter/pinterest and facebook and get yourself some strong links and watch how mirco niches still work.

Test it with just one domain, you'll be out $50- /$75- and yo have learned a lot (like doing your own testing) i'll bet you if you choice the right keyword that you make that money back --and then some-- in no time.

I suggest you to not go on micro niche, because if you run a branding site, you can rank exactly the same keywords of the micro niche BUT after you can rank more and more keywords, in the end your site while have much more authority than a micro niche, I mean rank a keywords begin to be easily each month! so go for authority site

A lot of stuff on here is just what people have read, and regurgitated, without taking any action to find out themselves.

Can you throw together a 3-5 page website and still rank? OF COURSE YOU CAN!

However, make sure you choose the right niche with a big profit potential. It would be pointless spending months ranking for a 1900 search keyword, which you will be monetizing with adsense.

If you are promoting a product, selling leads, or ranking small sites for clients, it can be done. Don't let people put you off anything .. Try things yourself.

The big boys who are killing it, are not posting rubbish on IM forums, remember that!

Also it's too broad a question. Payday loans probably has a ton of manual safeguards to avoid the famous bombs, but other kw's may be trivial to rank.
