thanks BHW for the 1.5 months of extreme IM training, much gratitude.

So I dont really consider my self a TOTAL noob anymore, Ive already got 6 new sites out there on page 3-5 but theres one thing thats always in the back of my mind thats really itchy.

I keep reading on how the micro niche, long tail keywords targeting, made for adsense era is over.

Would love if someone with actual experience could give me some clarity on this, heard that they eventually get de indexed after a few months

I mean, its a fact that buying an exact match domain for a low competition keyword and some SEO can get traffic fairly easily, so whats the deal with people (allot) talking about it not working anymore.

thanks, truly one of the last things I just cannot get a grip on.

Because they don't know what they are talking about. I've built 4 sites in the recent 2 weeks and one of them is on page 1, 1 on page 2, 1 on page 3 and one on page 5.
What you need to do now is to build more site, build more links and your site will rank high on G
Good luck

i built a site a few weeks ago and as soon as i published it, it started making money right away and its still makes money everyday..

Im no adsense pro but every day there is at least one thread here on 'my adsense account got banned' see if you can do product affiliates as an alternative.
If not be very careful.

there has been some discussion around various forums that i have seen about google devaluing exact domain names to stop people just buying an exact domain name match to get traffic.

haven't seen any evidence of this as yet with any of my sites (10 in total)

I hope this isn't true :/

Tips: Micro Niche site means "Micro Niche" site not Micro "Niche Site". Don't make site with 3-5 posts. Update them regularly.

exactly, this is where most of the people go wrong... I partly agree with the OP, yes those days are gone when you just launched a 3 page site and it was on page one... but imho a big and genuine looking site can get you more money than 10 -3 page sites

thanks for the replies, thats kinda what I thought, 3 posts arent gonna go it anymore, they are still good but takes some more effort.

thanks

Anyone know of the long term effectiveness of these micro sites, I dont mean 3-5 pages, even a 20-30 informative static site.

Even when you build a 20-30 page site I would not keep it static, keep adding unique content to it.

How do you get 50+ unique articles for such a small niche though?

That wouldn't be a problem. I can get a hundred articles too written on a very rare niche. You just need to get the right service provider ;)

I bought a 74k exact match domain 10 days ago, it appeared on page 2 after 2 days. Now its on no1 as it had little competition and it is now earning $10 a day.
Happy earning for me.

But if a micro niche site only make s a few $ a day how can you spend $500+ on quality unique articles that all relate to relevant keywords?

You wouldn't need to get all articles on the sites once. It's like a drip feed system. Give the blog maybe 5-10 articles a month. Depending on the level of competition for your keyword, you could increase that number or reduce it. But a minimum of 4-5 articles a month i recommended. You might spend the $500 you mentioned, but you aren't doing it at once. Spend it over a period of time.

IME micro niche sites don't have the lasting power to recoup that size of investment.

If you've got good keywords and the right micro niche you could easily recoup that investment.

emd is hot right now. You need to get on the money train while it lasts. Seriously, it won't last forever.
Having crappy websites ranking on page 1, in the top 1-3, and having google spend resources for manual adsense reviews means emd isn't going to last that long.

Ok guys heres a tip for the ones with the problem " how to get so much articles"

Go on youtube and look for your niche, go find a video in which some person TALKS about your niche. Than go to wordpress or notepad and start writing the stuff that that person talks. Some sentences will not make sense but you can remove it easily.
