We all know that Google frequently updates its frequent algorithm indexing. January 2013 also witnessed minor updates from Google and it just turned out to be the major setback for all. However, the most drastic updates from Google were in 2012 with arrival of Google Panda and Penguin. Is something also going to happen in rest of the 2013??

Highly unlikely as G rely on millions of forum threads being opened by people (none paid), hence G do not need to make anymore public announcements...

But then again I maybe wrong and to surprise all and sundry G forum posts will cease in the future...

It depends on how well adwords and adsense are doing. If they are making a lot of money, Google won't need to scramble the serps. If they are not making enough, google will scramble the serps to make webmasters buy adwords.

I do not think they will do anything really drastic because they still need people to use google because if there is radical change then it will change how websites are ranked etc, and that can affect how people surf the web and that could be bad, so I doubt anything drastic but I suspect some "minor" updates that will not affect people that surf the web but people who do internet marketing, SEO etc.

I don't think were going to see anything as major as we did in 2012. However, I would expect Google to make some changes to the algorithm. I think you will find Google looking to clamp down on networks such as SAPE over the next year. While that will effect some webmasters drastically others will be relatively unscathed. Maybe some more work on unnatural linking? But nothing majorly new.
