Hello guys, I have a website that has been dead for a couple of years (I haven't updated it since 2022 and I get about 15 visits a day from google), I want to completely change it by rewriting all the posts (about 2000), is it safe to install a maintenance plugin while making changes? Will google de-index my site if it's in maintenance mode for 1 month?

why don't you just edit those posts without using the maintenance plugin, your site traffic is also not much

that won't cause any critical problems in most cases,
but still not the best choice seo/ux & technical wise,

instead of using a maintenance plugin/page,
create a duplicate of the website files/database(s) and make the changes locally or while using a subdomain (blocking bots ofc),
then simply switch to the new version of the website, just make sure to backup during the process

if you completely change the site it won't do anything, only if you change the domain.
