Do you index your backlinks using paid indexer ? Or wait for it be indexed naturally? What are potential dangers when it comes to using piad indexers? Is that a footprint and google can derank your site and nullify those backlinks if you use indexer ? I read on 2022 December spam update some guys said they were penalized cause used paid indexers.? And idea?

Hey man!
I used to own a small indexing website too before so here's the deal:

1. They are only dangerous if the methods used are things like automated link-building software, ex: GSA, SeNuke, etc.
2. You're much better by using Google Indexing API and just submit your links for indexing.

Do a small background research before purchasing, I recommend that. If the seller/website has a good reputation and guarantees safety, then you're fine. That means they are using good methods like APIs for indexing and social media, etc. There are a lot tbh.

Small edit: You can get yourself in real trouble with the wrong indexer.(Forgot to mention) from penalty to -> never get indexed again = same thing lol.

Cheers!

I personally dont like it. If Google doesnt seem good enough to index I dont want it to be pointing to my site.

You don't need to index links to get juice for them. They aren't dangerous but may not be that valuable to most people.

The answer, as with most SEO-related questions, will be 'it depends'...
I've seen some indexing services dump a load of urls to index together on a comment or in an article, and those urls include porn/pharma etc. If the urls you've sent off for indexing are in amongst them, it might not be desirable. This is also one of the reasons I don't recommend indexing services for money sites.

Some of them, YES, absolutely. They cut and paste your link in blog comments, in YT video descriptions, which is really worrying. I can't tell which one I'm using, because it could pass as advertsing but I've found one which is clean and effectively attracts bots. I don't know how they're doing it, but it leaves no footprints. Anyway, I follow two rules: First, I mainly use indexers for tier-2 backlinks. Second, I cloak the links, using shorteners if they're too obvious.

In my experience, Twitter doesn't do sh* to index anything. Reddit, sometimes, but it's hard to understand the logic behind a Google indexation via Reddit.
