I queried old mate co-pilot a while back on the differences between the two. The long and the short of that was that for the ordinary user, then the Android device was best due to control over it, loading of apps etc etc, but for within an enterprize environment, then the iphone was recommended due to control of the device by the business and overall security.

If there were an Android phone with iphone's camera, I would definitely choose Android.
However, in case your current phone is doing just what you need it to do, then there probbly isn’t much that you are lsing out on. The main thing about iPhones is their ecoystem and consistency if you own a Mac or an iPad

Live your life your way. Me too likes android very much. it has to be very frankly it has more apps then limited apple store.
Android works as fine. It is simply a hype what i feel

If owning a phone defines class, sorry you are in a wrong thought process.
I have an iOS but android offers you much better control (the stock ones, specifically Pixels)
