I’ve heard engagement pods can help boost reach, but they seem less effective than before. Does anyone still use them successfully in 2025, or are they a waste of time?

Pods are kinda hit or miss now, since Instagram’s algorithm has changed a lot—engagement might still give a small boost, but focusing on organic content and community is probably more effective these days.

No engagement pods add risk and minimal benefit in 2025. real comments from targeted audience + strong content + story interaction.

Pods give fast likes, but real reach comes from regular posts and real people engaging.

Yes, but keep in mind, they are even more effective when the other users that are engaging have similar content as you. That increases the reach of the post to their audience aswell.

Engagement pods still exist and some creators use them, but they’re way less effective than before. Instagram’s algorithm is smarter now and can flag pod-like behavior, so it’s risky and not really worth it long-term.

Not really engagement pods are mostly a waste now. Instagram detects them and they offer minimal reach boost; focus on real audience engagement instead.

i don't. think because the will change there algorithem.

Engagement pods can still help a bit in 2025 but they are weaker now it’s better to focus on real engagement quality content and regular posting real and honest interactions give safer and longer-lasting results for your Instagram growth.

Rather than providing any significant boost to the algo, they provide social proof. Meaning with good pods, you get authentic engagement on your profile like likes and comments from reputable accounts.

Engagement pods are as effective as they ever have. If you have a group of real like minded people, who engage, comment, posts, that is essentially organic engagement.
I know a few video editing communities who do it, including one I just created myself.

No engagement pods offer limited benefit now. Instagram's algorithm detects them and good engagement from authenticity followers matters much more.

Engagement pods are a popular strategy for Instagrammers looking to increase their reach, but their effectiveness has fluctuated over time. You can try engagement pods that are highly focused on a specific area and include engaged users, which can still provide some significant value. Combining engagement pods with an effective content strategy—such as high-quality images, storytelling, and consistent posting—can yield better results.

Pods don’t work anymore in 2025. Instagram detects them, they hurt reach, and they bring no real followers. Better to focus on strong Reels and real engagement.
