Are High PR Low OBL Blog Comments Still Good?

I wanted to know are you guys still seeing good results post penguin with low OBL blog comments?

I happen to compiled a list of 5k (high PR onpage) blog post with the average obl being less than 10 and the highest being less than 40..

I am scared as shit to use them as I am not sure how well google will treat these type of links Post Penguin..

Any insight would greatly be appreciated..

5 Days before tried for my sites,blog comments still working greatly i jumped from #20 to #2 now.All the links are PR Pages and d0f0ll0w auto approved.Just with 100 links ...

It havn't dead, moreover the days of making thousands of LOW quality blog comments and ranking surely are. In my knowledge it seems that blogs with lower OBL and high pagerank can still get you some nice Serp movement. Manual commenting on high quality blogs certainly works when you actually have to read the blog and make a relevant post to have it stick that makes blog owner happy.

Absolutely! Remember to diversify anchor text used (optimized + unoptimized) and be sure to link as many pages on your site as possible.
 
If blog comments are still working today (and they are), I think it's fair to assume that they will always work to some extent. I've found low-OBL blog comments to work like crack for Google--I'm talking OBLs below 10. Anything above that and you're in danger of placing your link on a page that will soon be spammed out.
 
Its still not Dead! I think its still work do-follow no-follow all links from blog give some 20% result.

if there are d0f0llow yeah. n0f0llow don't and never did.
also if you add another secret ingredient it's even better and you dont risk geting penalized not even with higher than usual link velocity. no i will not tell you the secret ingredient.
