Are Guest Post Really This Expensive?

Hey Guys!

So I see everyone talking about 'don't buy guest posts, do it yourself'. Okey, let's try this.
Through some backlink analysis of my competitors, I have identified some good candidates for guest posts. Then I get back their prices:
100$
130$
300€ (really?)

So here's the question: guest post sellers here get a good discount, or I should be looking at sites with WAY worse stats than I currently try to go for? Bear in mind these are pretty good sites with real traffic.
When I read services like 'get featured on google news approved site for 99$' I think to myself, these websites I've found are waaay overpriced.

sellers here on blackatworld are trash lol they just sell pbn posts faked as guest posts.
You may negotiate yes but overall good guest posts are expensive, yes
try to buy guest posts from sites with DR 30+, ignore sites below that

Personally I've spended up to 550$ on a single guest post... and there are more expensive links as well
 
I've got as low as $20 direct for some decent stats.

Keep emailing, save all prices and domains in an excel sheet.

Directly contacting domain owners IS the cheapest way, the guest post sellers don't have any special tactics to get it cheaper than you can directly. Even if they get discounts for bulk purchasing, they still put money on top for the service of finding, setting it up ect.

Direct is the cheapest way, and prices vary depending on the site owner, so keep sending those emails to domain owners brother. You will get much cheaper than £100. And once you find cheap ones, you can create relationships with them, some of them have other domains in their hands too, so you can end up getting multiple offers from one domain owner.

Just make sure you are checking organic traffic, high DR with 0-very low traffic = PBN or DR boosting.
 
It really depends. I get emails for some of my sites and ppl offer me funny prices like 15-20. I immediately delete it and dont even reply.
So dont offer a low bs price especially if its an established site. I usually accept anything over $50 because its literally copy-paste for me but under that i wont bother.

Of course the best way to get guest posts sites cheap is by directly contacting the respective owner's ( but the thing is this process takes time as you need to find out a good niche site and contact them & build relationship ), so if you have time to do so then this would the right way

But, if you don't have time to do these kind of things means better look for a seller who provide this services
 
The best way to save and get high-quality guest post backlinks is by reaching to the site owners by yourself. This is a little time-consuming method, but in a long term, you can save a lot of money.
 
Yes, that's exactly what I'm doing, manual outreach for the site owners. Trying to seek out the best deals out there.
 
It's all in the negotiation, you need to be willing to walk away.

I can't count the amount of times a site has started at a figure of $100+ and I've got it down to $30 or even below.

Excellent! Do something valuable for the webmaster, and do it before you ask for a link. Because it’s human nature that when we receive something from someone, we feel compelled to give back and reciprocate something in return.

Hmm, what kind of 'something valuable' you are thinking here? Link to their site? Point out SEO errors?
 
I think there is a market for such kind of services and that will not be an issue for you to search for alternatives. You is the one who decide to buy such expensive services or not.

Well said. There are only a handful of providers here that don't resell blogs from 5-10$ Fiverr gigs.
 
If they want x amount, I would negotiate a link insertion onto a page that has links on it already. That way you get what you pay for. A simple guest post can often feel like a waste of money.

what is your source of income from your money site? are you selling a product/service or you relying on ads?

if product/service, don't you think that one extra sale from you ranking higher is worth the price for that guest post?

There are plenty reselling services, plenty working off the same lists, plus those who are selling guest posts which are nothing more than shitty PBNs.

Traffic doesn't really say anything though, there are blogs on Fiverr for 5$ with 10-100k monthly traffic that get sold for $xxx here

The whole incident is actually "time vs money". You can do your own guest post as people say if you wanna save money or order it if you gotta save time.

And then comes, are they worth it? It depends of the kind of site from where you'll get a backlink. Obviously a backlink from a PBN or link farm and one from Wikipedia (just an example) ain't the same!
