Are Google News Sites Taking Over Search?

I recently got my site in some Google News articles. Results were shockingly good. Well, at least from 1 of 2 vendors. 1 service took over the first page of my brand's search results. The non-English native guy, gave me a non-readable article on a spammed site and that of course washed away. But you get what you pay for.

Anyhow, after I did this. My interests were peaked. Been studying it a bit.

Has anyone noticed that Google News sites pretty much top Google search right now?

Every site does not get approved by them but a lot are joining the network. Still, most sites won't be 'valued'.

I'd like to know. Search 2 keywords and how many of the top 3 results are Google News sites for you guys?
That would be 6 sites.

Just wondering if everyone else gets a similar result?

Those rankings eventually drop. News sites jump to top for keyword for relevance. But they dont stick.
