Are free weeblys noindex?

Interesting. I was considering writing an article for my SEO blog about Weebly/Wix versus Wordpress since I've seen a few small businesses flock to those sites in lieu of hiring a web designer, so this'll be a great piece of information to add in there once I finish researching Weebly.

I'll do a bit more testing on this anyway just so we will know if tumblrs have any value at all any more.

I'm not overly concerned about the site because it's just a basic MNS which isn't really too great anyway. I'm just using this site to test the tumblr theory, if it tanks then so be it.

I'll report back when I have more info.
 
they are good for low comp i took over a whole page one time for 2 months :)
 
It's just a marketing move. Paste your free weebly url into google url submitter and it will ignore their robots.txt and will force index a site anyway. Tested.
 
I created a new weebly blog, posted a 100% unique article. It got indexed within 5 days, without any backlink at all.

I made a similar experiment and indeed, my weebly site has been indexed by google. I did not rank on first spot, but my site was present with different kw on page 1 - 3.
