Are Forum Backlinks Even Worth It?

Hey guys. Quick question, are forum backlinks still worth it in terms of SEO? I'm not talking Xrumer. I do forum related things manually for 100% stick (but it's slow )

What I do is make profiles, including a link with anchor text in my signature and put my website in the "homepage" box on all profiles. Then I will post about 5 - 20 posts a day, and saving the URL in notepad. After that I always ping every web page that contains my signature and backlink in it. This sound pretty solid? With the sneaky tactics I use, I have yet to be banned or flagged by any forum. But maybe that's not so uncommon, I have no idea!

I always make sure forums are do-follow as well ( a majority of them are) the only problem I have is that they aren't really related. I know this won't help as much then if they were, but will I still benefit from these links? Do any of you still get good results from posting forum links? Thanks for any help I get, I really do appreciate it.

It help them alot one of my buddy shoot to 1st page on Big G becoz of forum .But the key is stick toward topic and max 2 anchor text.If you go more then 2 they will ban u so better 2 max backlinks .Or For more then 2 dont post on any discussion just ping profile page...

Yes they are definitely worth it. If you get involved in a forum and post a lot, all of those links in your signature can be traffic back to your site.

I recently bought an xrumer blast from someone on this forum and it has helped me a lot, I'm now 4th (at the min) for my keyword in google when before I was on the 1000th page or something so yea my experience is that they are worth it.

100% worth it! The higher the PR of the domain the better link juice you will have.

Would love to know who you got that blast from, last time I bought a blast from someone it didnt do much for me.

well yes they still work for smaller niches, but if your niche is competitive you will need to build some proper backlinks as well. just forum ones wouldnt cut it.

i have paid for 2 xrumer blasts, 10k and 20k.
on a very competitive term .... the first 10k moved me from page6 to top of page3 and then with 2 weeks i dropped to the bottom of page3.
I then did a 20k blast which moved me from the bottom of page 3 to the top of page2 (which made me very happy) but then 4 days later dropped back to the top of page 3.

So i guess they do help and can get you to the top of G if the term is not that competitive but with a term like mine it gives you a little boost and then drops back but with a little increase of between 5-10 places.

They will help but you have to combine it with other things as well for your site to really benefit. If the keyword you are trying to rank for is not very competitive you might be able to get away with just profile links but i would suggest adding a bit more to the mix.

My one website is not seo freindly at all and im still getting 300-500 uniques per day, hell my website is not even in the top five or six pages for the keywords i use but i owe all my traffic coming in to forum profiles thousands and thousands of them which i used xrumer to make. I need to buy a copy for myself some day.

The problem with xrumer is not the 540$ of the program rather than the ongoing cost of hosting + proxies. Unless you offer a service you won't break even. Unless you use it 24/7 of 100 websites that you own to make high rankings on all of them and collect profits.
